Boards

It’s been more than 20 years since Surftech first brought groundbreaking technology into the surfboard industry. Our name reflects these values as it’s a hybrid of surf and technology and represents our commitment to the continuous evolution of creating quality surfboards.

The Wood Veneer series was our first technology shaped through an advanced construction process and resulting in beautiful, durable boards. This construction was embraced by many of the best longboard craftsman in the industry including Velzy, Yater, Takayama, Hobie and August.

Next, we developed Tuflite, the ultimate lightweight, long-lasting surfboard technology. Tuflite allowed Surftech to bring a wide array of models to surfers around the globe from shapers like Merrick, Rusty, Xanadu, Arakawa, Byrne, JC and over 50 other top board designers in the industry.

As surfers and shapers began to understand the value of varying flex patterns, Surftech introduced ULTRAFLX. This construction has been “flex-matched” to reflect the feel of a standard polyester board with the added bonus of a longer lifespan. From the beginning, we have shared our technological advancements with the great shapers of the world. ULTRAFLX represents the latest evolutionary step in our ongoing mission to advance surfboard technology, and we have been joined by many of of the industry’s leading shapers. Legendary shapers Simon Anderson, Xanadu, French, Rusty and Robert August all produce models in ULTRAFLX.

When you buy a board built using a long-lasting construction, you’re also investing in our planet. Surftech is committed to doing everything possible to produce top-quality boards while utilizing the most sustainable practices.

All of our technologies have been copied, but never duplicated … claimed, but never matched.
